Sys/Host 0.3.0
Daniel Berger has released a new version of Sys/Host.

Text::Format 0.52.2
Austin Ziegler has released a minor update to Text::Format, his
announcement was the springboard for a discussion of
versioning.

MIME::Types 1.004
Austin also updated MIME::Types.

RTidy/CityDesk
Austin Ziegler announced Rtidy/Citydesk, the app for which
Text::Format and MIME::Types were written, it’s a helper app
for the commercial CityDesk product.

MUES 0.02
The second release of MUES – the Multi-User Environment
Server. It is a multi-threaded, event-driven internet game
environment server written in Ruby and C.

rpkg (test release)
Massimiliano Mirra has released a new test version of rpkg, one
of the proposed ruby distribution systems.

MiniRubyWiki
Phlip has released a 400 line mini wiki which includes its own
webserver.

DbTalk 0.71
Dalibor Sramek announced the lated release of his DbTalk
project.

A good link to read while we discuss RAA.succ
Simon Cozens wrote an article about module namespaces which was
referred to on the mailing lis. A nice thread ensued, with
Simon participating.

      Why the lucky stiff brough up blogging RubyConf to help
      disseminate the information that came out of it.

[rubyconf] want to meet Microsoft .NET guy?
matz asked if anyone was interested in going to meet some
microsoft people with him. It seems that there were :slight_smile:

Thoughts on Ruby
Enric Lafont started a loong and interesting thread about the
similarities between Ruby and Samlltalk and how Ruby might be
improved by being more Smalltalk like.
