"Ruby" in Japanese Characters

Hi all

as a blithe introduction of a presentation about Ruby I’d like to
display Japanese characters meaning “Ruby”.

I’d be glad if you could name a hyperlink to (preferable a gif oder jpg
image with) those characters. A link to pure text might also work as I’m
using Mozilla as a browser which seems to be able to display those
Japanese characters.

Thanks a bundle and have a nice weekend
Markus

You could use:

It’s a Ruby mousepad from the Ruby.shop

Obviously, Ruby is spelt “Ruby”.

[*0]: Hm… why? Doesn’t the name “Ruby” come from English?
[*1]: no, no Kanji writing please, 4D is so hard to do on a 2D screen.

Die Bibel ist wortwörtlich wahr. Das ist verifizierbar und
überprüfbar. Das kannst du von der ‘Physik’ der Physiker und
der ‘Mathematik’ der Mathematiker nun wirklich nicht behaupten.

I remember extensive discussion of this issue some months ago on
rubytalk.com. If you seach archives I am pretty sure you’ll find a lot of
relevant information.
