Request: Ruby internship recommendation

Hello Rubyists,

I am a girl who really loves computer science, addicted to Ruby and care
about software architecture. I am writing to all of you because I need your
help to get an internship of 4 to 6 months starting from march and
obviously I want something related to Ruby development. I live in a country
where Ruby is not known and all internships offers that I get are Java
related. I want to build a Ruby career I need your help !! I am ready to
move to any country if only I can get my Ruby mission.

With regard to my technical skills, I am very flexible and can learn really
fast. Please reach out to me I am open to discussions and interviews.

Thank you for your time,

Kind regards

Why not do the Johns Hopkins Ruby on Rails specialization? If you can nail
the capstone project you will be a Ruby on Rails Fullstack developer whiz.

In addition to that, in the UK there are many companies always recruiting
for Ruby on Rails developers. Why not try that, especially if you can
integrate bigdata DB's like Mongo and Cassandra.

Thank you Joe for your answer. Yes I do Ruby on Rails, I am self-taught and
didn't take online courses. I have many Ruby on Rails projects on my github
account. Can you please recommend me companies who recrute Ruby hackers
from all over the world ?

Hello Pedro Paulino,

No I actually live in Morocco, a country where all those who started Ruby
immediately migrated to Java to afford a job, unfortunately ... But I am
determined to stay a Rubyist and thus I want to move to some other country.

I cannot reccomend a company that employs on ruby, but where I worked
previously employed a combination of Ruby, Python and Java.
I knew Angular, React and my db knowledge included Mongodb on top of
Postgres.

It all depends if you want a permanent job or a project based contract
which would require only rails.
