Oscon 2004

Who is coming to OSCON this year? Once again it’s being held here in
sunny Portland, Oregon.

I won’t be going to the conference itself this year - my presentation
wasn’t accepted this year :frowning: However, I would like to arrange some
after-hours gathering(s) of local and visiting Rubyists.

Fun Factoid: I hear that we have the highest concentration of O’Reilly
Authors per capita of any city in the US.

26-30 july… Unfortunatly I go back home the 23 july, from my first
trip to the US, 3 weeks in Oregon, San Fransisco,…

But I would have liked to watch.

I was hoping to go, but they turned down my proposal :frowning:

I thought a talk on data acquisition using Linux, Comedi, SWIG, and Ruby
(all open source) would be just the ticket for OSCON, but not this year.
