Maybe it was at RubyConf, but I think I recall someone mentioning that
there was a Jabber layer being developed for dRuby - is that true? If it
is in the works, when might we see it? If it’s not in the works, how
difficult would it be?

Jabber4r is about to be rev’ed to 0.3.0…already built need to release.
It should be straightforward to do, but have not done detailed
investigation into how to write a transport for druby, but its now
pluggable from what I understand.
I would likely not get to it until mid january…please feel free if you
feel up to it…and let me know what you think of jabber4r if you do.

Will 0.3.0 support REXML?
