Introduce myself

Hello everyone! I just signed up for this mailing list to try to connect
with other Rubyists! A little about myself: My name's Mike but go by Micky
(Scandal). I just started learning Ruby as my (almost) first language
several months ago. I've been coding websites since i was about 12 (I'm 28
now), but this is my first real programming language. My main goal for this
mailing list is hopefully not only to learn more about the language, but
also to find other programmers, maybe around the same level who would be
interested in collaborating on a project together. I always learn better
with a partner so I'm setting out on the search to find one, or many! so if
anyone knows of a project that could use some help or if anyone would be
interested in collaborating in a new project (mainly just for learning
purposes), please let me know! Nice to meet everyone, and I look forward to
hopefully working with some of you!

Welcome to the really nice world of ruby and of its community Micky!
Good luck on your journey!

Welcome Micky! I could only recommend you some book by Michael Hartl (Ruby
on Rails Tutorial Rails 5) and Crafting Web Application (if not mistaken)
by Jose Valim.

Cheers,
Adam
