Happy July Birthdays

(James) #1

It’s July; the birthstone for this month is the Ruby.

Greetings to fellow Rubyists celebrating (as I am) a July birthday.

Ruby, the birthstone of this month? Never heard about that, but anyway…
great! Thanks for that information (it’s way too early to send you the
best wishes, James, but I hope I will remember that in about two weeks).

I never paid much attention to birthstones until several
months after I started coding ruby. Since my wife’s birthday
is July 4 (Independence day in the states), I have no trouble
remembering now.

You have all got it lightly, atleast you aren’t an April fool like
myself. 21 years of torment. 1st April is not a good day to be born,
I now have to be fool for the rest of my life.

grin

As someone once said, growing old in mandatory, growing up is
optional. Fool for life

Regards,

Chris

I also hear that people born in April are also highly intelligent,
charismatic, and good looking, matz, wouldn’t you agree?

But on a different note, I had no idea what the birth stone for
April was.

Thanks

Regards,

Chris
