Dear Everyone,

This is a repost of the call for presentation proposals for the
upcoming Ruby Conference (November 2002).

The deadline for submissions is August 15. Response the first
time around was rather light... so there's still lots of room on
the schedule, but somewhat less time before the deadline. So
now's the time to write up your ideas and go for it!

(Remember -- you don't have to submit a whole paper, just an
abstract of what you want to present. You don't have to actually
prepare the presentation in full until the elevator ride up to the
presentation room :-)

Ruby Conference 2002: Call for Presenters

Submissions for presentations at Ruby Conference 2002 are now
being accepted at http://www.rubyconf.org/proposal.php.

As you’ll see, there are three types of presentation, of which you
will be asked to choose one:

  • Full-length talk
  • Poster session
  • Lightning talk

You’ll also be asked for the title of your presentation, and an
abstract.

Exact scheduling will depend on number and type of presentation
proposals. We have two conference rooms, and three days, which should
allow for considerable flexibility.

Proposal submission will remain open until August 15. At some point
between now and then, conference registration itself will start (and
we’ll have a provisional “scheduled to appear” list
