Hi,
I'm a bit confused about the Ruby versioning process because the stable snapshot was at version 1.8.2 long before Ruby 1.8.2-preview1 was announced.
Will Ruby 1.8.2 release contain changes to the stable snapshots that occur after Ruby 1.8.2-preview1?
Hi,
I'm a bit confused about the Ruby versioning process because the stable
snapshot was at version 1.8.2 long before Ruby 1.8.2-preview1 was announced.
The version number of snapshot goes up when I decide to release a new
version. Previews are release candidates which still might have bugs,
because quite a few people try snapshots.
Will Ruby 1.8.2 release contain changes to the stable snapshots that
occur after Ruby 1.8.2-preview1?
Yes.
