is it just me or has the traffic here dropped significantly during the
last month? Hopefully we don't face another gateway issue...

average.
As I said, it can be that amount of traffic didn't change and it's just my

off i got less than 10 a day...never did seem to recover...

wel yes thats correct, I recieved around the same
amount. I wouldn't say 100 emails day, its always a
variable rate. Unfortunately because I have been using
a yahoo list I get spammed

A quick and dirty script surveyed my mailbox, and got statistics:
September: 652 (93/day) # up to yesterday, the 7th
August: 3159 (102/day)
July: 3279 (106/day)
June: 2884 (96/day)
May: 3051 (98/day)
These are the total numbers of messages received on the ruby-talk mailing list for each month, divided by the number of days. It actually seems to be holding fairly steady.

Traffic seems normal, though a bit more concentrated in fewer threads.
I just put it down to many of the younger Ruby users having to deal
with back-to-school activities.
