The ruby kitchen sink

Hello,
I thought people might like to know that I've done up a custom search engine
for ruby using Google CSE

The site is here: http://rubykitchensink.ca

The reason why is here:
http://noodlejunkie.com/articles/2007/01/29/custom-ruby-search-engine-recipe

Right now it searches about 200 ruby blogs and about 100 ruby projects.
If your site isn't in the Sink I'd be glad to add it, just send me an email.

Enjoy

Excellent! Any chance you can include the mailing list archive?

Great! I just added the yubnub[1] command "rks" to search the ruby kitchen sink.

I think that's a very good idea. I am already thinking about reducing the amount of information in the Ruby ML to a bearable level for a longer time now (by text mining, finding relevant keywords, bayesian classification, clustering relevant topics etc) - i.e. that you would have an automatically generated list of keywords of threads with short summaries from the original mails etc. by the end of each day.
It will require a lot of training in the beginning, but after some time it should work quite nicely I guess.

However, until this will be done, I think adding the mailing list archive would be great.

Alex, what do you think?

@Jason
I've added another refinement label 'ruby-lang' which will allow you search
just the ruby-lang mailing list.

If you want to search just the ruby projects sites then use the 'project'
refinement, or if you want to search blogs, projects and the mailing list
all at the same time then just don't use any refinements at all.

Thanks for the suggestion, I think its a great idea.

Searching the ruby lang (and rails) mailing lists is an excellent
feature. Google
barely touches those, and it desperately needs a convenient interface. Theres
a lot of new Ruby users being redirected to search the ML's and it would help
if they were conveniently searchable.
