Fwiw, I do like your stats. For me, quantity is also important for a
sprouting community like ruby list. Sometimes, it is inspiring to know
you're on the top 10 even if you're just a nuby yourself. There are a lot of
gurus here in this list that seldom contribute anymore. I admire the people
on this list, though small in thought, give back big in their hearts. There
are also very unique people here that contributes when noone else can or is
able to, eg consider Guy Decoux (truly amazing ruby hacker). So pls consider
David Blacks's comment on your disclaimer. Btw, your stat could be a good
appendix on Tim's news also.
Btw, is your stat immune fr spam or whatever? What if i just post and post
without any sense (just to be on the top), will your program sense it?

FYI, I already have added smallest and largest posts of the week to newsstats.
