however it is widely accepted that "Programming Ruby" is an excellent
introduction into Ruby going very far
Programming Ruby: The Pragmatic Programmer's Guide
N.B it is known as the Pick-axe
The standard documentation is always good to be handy for reference

Is Ruby better language now?
Did you have any problems with it? Ruby is the best language now unless
you ask on a different mailing list.
No ruby is widely accepted as a very concise and nice language.
