How to start!

Dear all,

I am new to programming and ruby too. since last one week i am trying to
find online tutorials for Starters (ruby basics), I found almost every
thing, How to install, what to install, what and how to update etc. but
not getting any ebook (free :-)) on ruby or online tutorial that how to
work in ruby or what to code and how to code in ruby.

I request all if then can help me finding tutorials on ruby. I tried
www.w3schools.com also but no luck... I hope all of you understand what
i am trying to say.

Please suggest how/what to learn in ruby. what are the steps and how to
proceed.

Cheers,
FunFeast

There are a few books online:

1. the PickAxe book - 1st edition
2. why's poignant guide to ruby
3. Mr neighbourly's Humble Little Ruby Book

You can find the links to the first 2 using any search engine.

Cheers,
Mohit.
