Set digest in the newsletter

Hi guys,

I have looked everywhere, trying to set my ruby-talk mails to be grouped
in a daily digest.
I have found that it is managed by mailman, and that there is a
controller (ruby-talk-request@ruby-lang.org) to which I can send commands.
I had found some information here: https://www.ruby-lang.org/en/community/mailing-lists/manual-instructions/
and here http://comp.lang.ruby.narkive.com/HCGTc2RJ/is-there-a-ruby-talk-digest-list

The following commands in the body of the email are working fine:
'help'
'set help'
'set show'

Now to set the digest, it seems that I need to authenticate, using the
same email.
So I tried sending a mail to ruby-talk-request@ruby-lang.org with
'set authenticate my_password' as the subject, and 'set digest mime' as
the body.
I also tried leaving the subject empty and put the two commands on two
separate lines in the body.
Also tried putting 'set authenticate my_password set digest mime' in the
subject.

In all these cases, I don't get any response from the controller.
If I send only 'set digest mime', I get the answer 'Not authenticated'.

Somebody would happen to know how it can be done?
Thanks
