Syck 0.25 + YAML.rb – Objects in plain-text
Why has released a new version of Syck and YAML.rb.

entryCache 1.0 released
entryCache is a subclassed Hash that is limited by the number
of entries it contains, It’s very useful for caching
information in memory. Several patterns of entry flushing are
supported and may be specified during initialization

Symbiosis offer: trade Ruby for German :slight_smile:
Mauricio Fernandez asked to trade his knowledge of Ruby for
asistance in learning German by writing explanations (in
German) of Rubyisms, and recieving corrections/assistance with
his writing. Several others joined in on the thread.

TAKAHASHI Masayoshi sent the latest translation/summary of the
ruby-dev amiling list.

petition for raa-install to be included in 1.8
Phil Tomson asked that raa-install be considered for inclusion
Ruby 1.8, and has put up a wiki based petition a’la YAML.

SOAP in 1.8 standard library?
MikkelFJ psoted a similar request for SOAP4R to be included.
