Ruby/Tk problem (Re: ANN: ruby 1.6.8)

Hello,

If we edit source code of Tcl/Tk, probably it is easy to fix the problem.
But it will not be allowed.

Why would editing the source code of Tcl/Tk not be allowed?

Then, we must force Ruby/Tk users to patch and compile Tcl/Tk
which is similar to but different from original Tcl/Tk.
Not only this may make a hurdle to introduce Ruby/Tk high,
but the Tcl/Tk-like library may have troubles to coexist with
original Tcl/Tk (wish).
So, I request some solutions on Ruby side only.
