Ruby-talk traffic doubles in last two weeks

Looking at the graph here:

it shows weekly volume going from an average of around 700 to about 3500.
Now, since the RWN was missed last week that means that in those two weeks
there was about 1700 or so posts in each of the last two weeks. That’s
more than double the average. Any theories about this spike?

Yeah, more OT threads like these, and since no-one seems to care, more posts
like these happen.

for December 2002.
