maybe because the goal is really difficult. or maybe they lack a good facilitator (or worst, people do not agree w each other). fr experience, this is the most difficult part. Specs are very important. Just imagine you've poured your energy and have finished code and found out too late that the app doesn't scale nor get sold :frowning:

one thing i like about rails is that it cuts the infra part in half like a blazing samurai. Now all one has to do now is provide/add the tiny details part.. providing fast contributions.. pieces of cake..
