If you have OSX can you tell me what version of Ruby is installed? Also have
you tried getting the latest to run (1.7.3)? Problems there?

I ask because I may go to that platform. : )

[pjs@chaos pjs]$ ruby -v
ruby 1.6.7 (2002-03-01) [powerpc-darwin6.0]
[pjs@chaos pjs]$ /usr/local/bin/ruby -v
ruby 1.7.2 (2002-08-01) [powerpc-darwin5.5]
[pjs@chaos pjs]$

The one that ships with jaguar is 1.6.7, I built 1.7.2 with some minor
tweaking. Haven’t tried 1.7.3 yet.

I.6.7 I haven’t personally tried 1.7.3 since the OS was updated from
10.1. It used to work.
