Ruby-FLTK-FLWM-SQLITE for developing ruby apps

After trying contact the people that develop Ruby-Fltk and get no
response till now I’m posting here the work I’ve done on it and want
to share with everyone that is interested on.

First off all I’m not trying fork the original work, as soon as I
contact the developers or if some of then see this message I’m
providing my modifications and aditions as a tarball at:

extracted from Flek, ruby-sqlite, sql-ledger, ruby-fltk-0.8.3)

as well there is a binary version cross-compiled in linux with mingw32
for win32 at:

http://unolotiene.com:8080/ruby-fltk-src.zip (2.2 MB)

There is some new examples translated from the original FLTK examples.

I could get a start working version of FLVW widgets
(Flv_List,Flv_Style,Flv_Table) to work in both linux and win32.

The ruby-sqlite was reworked as well and several bugs killed.

I’m supplying a start work of a general-ledger application at first
based on SQL-Ledger.

The only documentation till now is the source code.

Have you tried contacting them on the mailinglists at SourceForge?
Ruby/FLTK download | SourceForge.net

It seems they are still alive and kicking on those lists. :slight_smile:

Interesting. Is it going to be compatible with SQL-Ledger in any way,
allowing easy datatransfer back and forth or such?

I’m also interested in your flvw extension. So I will try to merge
it including flvw (and flek). However, I’m not sure that I will have
enough time for it.
