Ruby 1.8

Hello

I’m using Ruby 1.6.8 at the moment, but sometimes I have problems with
it ([BUG] error), so I’d like to upgrade to 1.8. My questions are:

  • is it stable?
  • are there any new interesting features in 1.8 in comparison to 1.6?
  • when will 1.8 final version be released?
