Ok, the version of REXML that is included in the stable
ruby-1.8.1.tar.gz is working perfectly. The two versions of REXML that
I tried that definitely did not work were rexml.0.2 and the version
included in ruby-1.8.1-r3 in gentoo linux when you emerge ruby. I wont
bother repeating the details of the error I got because I posted them in
the last e-mail, and I’m lazy. I think its something wrong with the
xpath code as far as I can tell, good luck fixing it. Until then I’ll
just keep using 1.8.1.
