Rails Mailing List Errors (during subscription)

Does anyone here have info about the Rails Mailing List, why it errors
during subscription attempts, and why the email to the webmaster(s) is
bouncing?

I am trying to describe here:
http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails

I am getting errors when doing so (can post them here if anyone wants
to see them). The error text says to contact the webmaster:
rails-owner@lists.rubyonrails.org

But that email is bouncing. Is that list active? Did some other list
replace it?

This list is no longer active. There is a Rails google group that is
used instead.
