Hello,
Interested in getting started building website with Ruby?
I've moved all my Jekyll static site starter themes for easy
(re)use to its own github org, that is, Henry's Themes [1]
All are Jekyll 3 ready (and use kramdown for markdown processing).
Static site examples include:
- Starter ( no blog, just pages)
- Starter V2 (no blog, just pages with includes, nav, and more etc.)
- Minimal
- Bootstrap (using the source sass version)
- Classics Books
Happy Jekylling. Cheers.
PS: If anyone is interested in following Jekyll (or Middleman
news
(latest themes, articles, tips&tricks) follow along the Static Times
on twitter
@statictimes [2].

Hello,
A little update: More (static site) starter book themes for Jekyll & friends.
Update (Feb/16): I've added a new static site theme that lets you
build books w/ Gutenberg - a web typography starter kit by Matej
Latin. The theme uses the Sass source version and gets auto-build
using the GitHub Pages service. See the live example - "Strange Case
of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" [1] by Robert Louis Stevenson or the
source repo [2].
Update (Feb/18): I've added another new static site theme that
lets you build books w/ Boom! - a microformat for books by the
inventors of CSS, that is,Bert Bos and Håkon Wium Lie. See the live
example - "Cascading Style Sheets - Designing for the Web" [3] or the
source repo [4].
Happy Jekylling. Cheers.
PS: More great themes by Michael Rose [5] incl. a write-up on how-to
create a style guide [6].
