Looking through Google Groups, I can see a quiz solution on comp.lang.ruby:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/comp.lang.ruby/msg/752b5ffdf6ad82bd
However, I do not recall receiving that message and I cannot seem to find it in the Ruby Talk archives. Google shows its headers to include:
X-Mail-Count: 151159
But this message seems strangely absent from the archives:
http://ruby-talk.org/ruby/ruby-talk/151001-151200.shtml
Can someone clue me in, please?
James Edward Gray II
P.S. If I've failed to record any other solutions to the quiz, please let me know:
http://www.rubyquiz.com/quiz41.html
I found it here:
http://www.ruby-talk.org/cgi-bin/scat.rb/~poffice/news2/comp.lang.ruby/32212
I think what happened is that I sent an email that looked like a
reply, but wasn't actually in response to original quiz email and so
didn't have a proper In-Reply-To message ID. Looking at the google
groups header, I see:
In-Reply-To: <this_is_a_dummy_message-id@rubygate>
There's some commentary on this at the top of the thread that it ended up in:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/comp.lang.ruby/tree/browse_frm/thread/d904e9a2bed3cae9/8165d71cd67d2ea6?rnum=1&hl=en&_done=%2Fgroup%2Fcomp.lang.ruby%2Fbrowse_frm%2Fthread%2Fd904e9a2bed3cae9%2F752b5ffdf6ad82bd%3F#doc_8165d71cd67d2ea6
