How do others feel about this Google CodeSearch?

Well it would seem that the Perl and Ruby code I wrote is indexed. I wonder what has happened to Python stuff? The code was made public, it is on public archives (they seem to have scraped raa and cpan), so I see no problem with this. I wonder if they'll grab code off user sites as my C stuff is not in any archive.
Looks like it might be useful there are times when searching for an error message on google just leaves me with 1,000s of messages about the error message and what I wanted was the code that generated it.
This is the purpose of open source - it's openly available!

Indeed. But nor was the search engine. Choice is good, and Google
CodeSearch has some nice features I haven't seen elsewhere, like
regular expressions and search by licence.

Its a good idea.
However I am not sure about its quality.
Often when I use google, I just find 80% crap, or unrelated, even though
I do search for specific topics. While on the other hand, sometimes
blogs and similar do yield much better information (praise _why as well
by the way!)
