für deutschsprachige Informationen über Ruby gehe zu www.google.de,
trage als Suchwort “Ruby” ein (ohne die Anführungszeichen),
wähle darunter den Radiobutton “Seiten auf Deutsch” aus und
klicke auf “Google-Suche”.
Schon der erste Eintrag führt dich zum Beispiel zu der Seite von
Clemens Wyss, wo du einiges auf Deutsch findest.
Es gibt auch eine deutschsprachige mailing-Liste :

Ich weiß nicht ob das die einzige oder aktivste ist, aber analoges
Suchen
bei www.google.de sollte auch hier weiterhelfen.
Die Bemerkung mit babelfish in obiger Antwort bezog sich auf die
automatisierte Übersetzung von Texten, zB. vom Englischen ins
Deutsche.
Das funktioniert bei gutem Willen beider Seiten, übersetze einfach mal
Texte ins Deutsche und überlege, wie die ins Englische übersetzte
deutsche Antwort für einen Engländer klingt (die ruby newsgroup ist
hier sehr tolerant!)

Man kann auch vom Japanischen ins Englische und dann nochmal vom
Englischen ins Deutsche übersetzen, aber das ist wahrscheinlich dann
schon “Stille Post”.
Der Begriff “Babelfish” wurde übrigens im Buch “Per Anhalter durch die
Galaxis” von Douglas Adams geprägt - lesenswert (Babel ist natürlich
schon vor 2000 Jahren erwähnt worden…)
