Dir.bitbucket?

That doesn't strike me as immediately intuitive. Also, I wouldn't
expect a singleton method on the Pathname class. There aren't any
currently that I recall.

How about ftools then? There we've got File instead of FileUtils.

In pure Ruby, Pathname might be the best.

Maybe it's best to keep it 3rd party then. I'm going to add File.null to the ptools package and put out the next release today or tomorrow.
