Architecture independent binary data?

(Shashank Date) #1

Does Ruby allow us to store binary data in an architecture independant
fashion ?

Or do we have to code for big-endian / little endian differences ?

If not, any plans to make it transperant to the programmer ?

Thanks,

Marshall.

You can use pack/unpack with n/N/v/V.
