With great pleasure, I would like to announce the creation of a
moderated mailing list for announcements only.

announce@rubynet.org is a low volume list targeted toward informing
the Ruby community of new releases of software, upcoming events, and
security fixes.
–rubynet.org Your interface to the Ruby world.
Good idea, but wouldn’t it be sensible to keep English-speaking mailing lists
under the same ruby-lang.org umbrella?

Hi,
Will you cc the announcements there to comp.lang.ruby too? (To me,
discussion group has worked better than subscribing to a mailing list; I
don’t have big email box.)
Regards,
Bill

Depending on how often an “announce” list gets used, hopefully the RWN will
capture all the announcements made on -talk, developers, and announce.
Perhaps you can subscribe to the RWN which would be pushed onto you once a
week, or alternatively you could pull it down yourself from
www.rubygarden.org .
