Why are the ruby docs for a lot of versions incomplete?

Here's an example:

Queue, 2.4.1 : http://ruby-doc.org/core-2.4.1/Queue.html

Queue, 2.2.0 : http://ruby-doc.org/core-2.2.0/Queue.html

The former only lists a brief description and example usage, while the
latter has documentation for all class + instance methods.

Am I looking at the wrong docs? Is there another documentation site I
should be using?

Regards,
Paul

Docs are not the strongest point of Ruby.

I wish Ruby also has Python like documentation. :slight_smile:

Thanks,

Perhaps: Class: Thread::Queue (Ruby 2.4.1)

Queue was reimplemented as Thread::Queue in newer versions,
so I guess the documentation was moved (I don't agree with
the naming change, though).

You can join http://documenting-ruby.org/ project, for example. Not sure if it’s still active, but I’ve heard about it on the last Ruby conf in Moscow
