Web apps in Ruby

Hello,

I'm currently a Windows XP based developer. I checked the Ruby's
official web site and I couldn't find any info on this. Can you build
web applications in Ruby? or is it only windows apps?

Rails aside, assorted folks have written web apps in Ruby.
