(unknown)

I have some questions about raa-install.

I got the following error messages while Unarchiving during various
installs. What am I doing wrong?
I am using debian. (woody?) and am running ruby 1.8.

  1. MUES-0.02.tar.gz readline (LoadError)
  2. borges-0.2.0.tar.gz with Archive::Tar/zlib install.rb:3:in = `require’: No
    such file to load – install-pkg (LoadError)
    This problem occurred also in the following:
    mime-types-1.005.tar.gz tex-hyphen-0.2.tgz text-format-0= .63.tar.gz
    transaction-simple-1.1.0.tar.gz uninheritable-1.0.tar.= gz
    webplayer-0.3.0.tar.gz
  3. acoc-0.4.5.tar.gz with Archive::Tar/zlib Install Error: No r= ecognized
    installers
    This problem occurs frequently.
    Other examples include:
    babel.tar.gz benchmark-020425.tar.gz
    benchmarksuite-0.1.0.tar.gz?download cvsmailer-0.23.tar.gz=
    eruby-1.0.4.tar.gz ruby-filename-0.1.1.tar.gz flea= -0.2.tar.gz

In this last case, I did not reach the unarchiving stage.

  1. ftp://ftp.ruby-lang.org/pub/ruby/contrib/csv-1_2_1.tar.gz
    =3D/usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/raainstall/tar.rb:264:in
    `check_checksum’: Warning: checksum mismatch in header: 4299 !=3D 5323
    (Archive::Tar::BadHeaderError)
    This message also happened with these files:
    http-access2-j.tar.gz soap4r-1_4_8_1.tar.gz
    TCPSocketPipe-1_8_1.tar.gz
    I repeatedly tried to raa-install soap4r and repaeated ly got the checksum=
    error.

I’m not sure if these are present in the current packages, but in the next
version that I release of my packages for this, I will be including
install-pkg in my release as a fallback.
