Yes. I have received a notification email this morning (Paris/GMT+1)
saying that my PDF download was ready, and indeed it was.
Same here, annoyingly I wasn't at home to download it till a little while ago
One thing I hadn't realised till reading the preface was that Andy
wasn't directly involved in this edition.
Cheers to all involved in making the 2nd edition a reality!

Mine is 5.776.818 Bytes. And it's not only huge, it's also great!
Thanks Dave and everyone who made this book possible.

Yeah - that's why we have a backlog... :))
Cheers

A backlog in shipping PDFs? That sounds like a big number of orders...
Happy rubying (and shipping)

I guess the size of your backlog (alt. the number of PDFs in total)
is a good indication of how much Ruby has grown; provided that you have
information regarding the first release. It'd only be a two-point
graph, still...

I'm not sure: we asked ASCII in Japan (who translated the other Bookshelf books), and they weren't sure. They're concerned about the size.
Perhaps some requests from folks in Japan might help...

BTW, are there any plans for translations? To French, German, Japanese?
