Status of Ruby on the Mac

I am thinking about moving to a nice new Macintosh and was wondering
about the state of Ruby on the Mac.

Does it have Tk? This is quite important to me.

Only OSX has the unix substructure, and the stuff the others are talking
about. There would have to be a port for an OS 9 or less version, which
I don’t know exists yet.
