Slashdot carrying an article on Ruby 1.8.0 release

It would be great if someone could create an “annotated” version of the
change log that gives a little more detail on each change. Someone that is
new to Ruby will probably not find the current change log very useful. It’s
not written in a way that would get a relative newbie to Ruby excited about
upgrading to 1.8. I know that’s not the purpose of the change log, but a
separate, annotated version could do that.
