I'm trying to use rubyscript2exe on there website,
http://www.erikveen.dds.nl/rubyscript2exe/index.html it says that it can
also compile for Linux and Mac. I'm really trying to have this done by next
Friday (so a week from today) Can anyone help me out? I've e-mailed the
person incharge of the app to but who knows if he checks

Maybe if you tell us what the problem is....

it still comes out as an exe even when I config it like the site said. I'll
go ahead and try to re-config it I'll post in like two minutes if it works.

On linux, running
rubyscript2exe foo.rb
generates a file called foo_linux (which is the all-in-one executable). That's my experience anyway.
Are you getting a .exe file? Does it have execute permissions? What happens when you try to run that file on linux?
