Ruby's own resolver (resolv-replace)

Hi,

I'm currently struggling with ruby's own resolver. Various runtime
errors have occurred on windows platforms. I'm on ruby 1.8.2. Any known
problems / workarounds?
Users reported problems with WinXP SP1/2.

I've been working with the resolver lately, I might be able
to comment if you provided more details. Any details.
