is the Ruby Toolbox (https://www.ruby-toolbox.com/) still a useful
resource? It seems to be unmaintained since about 2013 or 2014 and
returns outdated data (it lists e.g. for sinatra a release of 2013
as the latest release, while several newer releases exist).
Also, it hasn't been possible to suggest new projects for years,
which seems even more problematic to me.
What's your impression? Are there alternative resources?
It is telling me that Sinatra 1.4.7 is the latest, from five months
ago... which matches what I see on rubygems.org
Stats are updating, too. It shows month-by-month statistics, with the
latest being this month.
I know I've had new gems appear in the index after 2013... so....
I don't know how much it's getting code updates, but I've used the
site for a while and never noticed any issues. Seems fine to me.

"Project suggestions are currently under maintenance and are disabled.
They will be back with a vengeance soon!"
Judging from the blog posts, this feature seems to be broken since 2012.
However, I do not know whether new gems are automatically scraped
from e.g. Rubygems.org or GitHub or not.
True, but if you click on sinatra it will show the latests version as 1.4.7, so the search results are broken, but the link to ruby gems seems to work.
