I’d like to try Ruby GTK on windows with mingw. I have
some hope that it might work since there are mingw
binaries available at the ruby-gnome2 site. However,
there is no info on how to install and what is needed
in addition to the gtk mingw tarball in order to use
ruby-gtk.
Anyone seen any doc on this? Does it work for you and
how did you do it?
I installed ruby-gtk2 with MinGW & MSYS and wanted to write small HOWTO
but has stumbled upon compiling Ruby 1.8.0 with MinGW.
In short: if you have Ruby built with MinGW and Ruby-GTK2 tarball, then
you can use (that’s what I have) GTK+ Runtime Environment downloadable
from http://www.dropline.net/gtk/.
Pls. dont’ hesitate to contact me if you have some problems.
