It is 1.8.1 and I did not manage to run it on Pocket PC 2003 but you may be
more lucky.
Somewhere in the bottom of my todo list I have installing MS development
tools for Pocket PC (they are surprisingly free) and trying to compile Ruby
myself...
In the meantime I play with Pocket Scheme
