Hi Matz, THANX for your reply!

I was wondering if Matz or another Ruby hacker has a tentative release
date for Ruby 1.8.0 final.
I will release preview3 soon after REXML is checked in to the CVS.
The final release should be followed.

I realize you are working etremely hard for the release (and we are
all gratefull for your efforts) but if you have any time period in
mind (1, 3, 6 months?) it would be great to know!

thanks for all your work.
Ruby really brings the joy back to programming.

when I am sometimes frustrated with C++ or Java I just code
a little Ruby or Python and the Programming is fun again.
