Rake::Application#run question

Here is a great explanation of what you want I think. If not let us know.

Hi all,

I can't figure out what this means (taken from rake rdoc
documentation):

Rake::Application#run()

Run the Rake application. The run method performs the following
three
steps:

   * Initialize the command line options (init).
   * Define the tasks (load_rakefile).
   * Run the top level tasks (run_tasks).

If you wish to build a custom rake command, you should call
init on your
application. The define any tasks. Finally, call top_level to
run your
top level tasks.

In which way I can build a custom rake command?

p.s.

Sorry if OT but I can't post message to the rake-devel ml after

subscribing.. :frowning:

Thanks.
Andrea

Thank you! This is exactly what I mean.
