Problem installing shoes using the installer shoes-3.1.0.run

Hello everyone.

I am trying to install shoes-3.1.0 by executing the install file:
shoes-3.1.0.run, but after few seconds the installer terminates with the
error listed below.

*Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.3 (Santiago)*
*RHEL 64 3.30*

*shoes]# ./shoes-3.1.0.run
Verifying archive integrity... All good.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you Jake for the links. I will also try the mailing list for shoes.
Everything went fine until the very last command, *rake*, when processing
was aborted.

ruby -v
ruby 1.9.3p327 (2012-11-10 revision 37606) [x86_64-linux]

I'm copyng here the very last few records of *rake* output, showing the
error messages:

bin/main.o: In function `main':
main.c:(.text+0x64): undefined reference to `ruby_snprintf'
main.c:(.text+0xa7): undefined reference to `ruby_run_node'
dist/libshoes.so: undefined reference to `ruby_vsnprintf'
dist/libshoes.so: undefined reference to `rb_str_new_cstr'

rake aborted!
Command failed with status (1): [gcc -Ldist -o dist/shoes-bin bin/main.o

Hi Jake,

Hey thank you for your help. Please rest assured that I don't intend to
make you my personal First Level Support. But I have one more question. I
registered for the list you suggested: http://librelist.com/browser/shoes/\.
When I go to the page, I can see previous items. But, how do you send/leave
a question on that list?

Thank you
