We have been using PL/Ruby successfully for quite some time.
Recently we upgraded our version of ruby.
$ ruby --version
ruby 1.8.5 (2007-03-13 patchlevel 35) [x86_64-linux]
We have started getting segfaults in postgres that look like it’s from ruby.
They appear to happen randomly and I have had no luck recreating them on
demand.
All I see in the log is.
(eval):15: [BUG] Segmentation fault
ruby 1.8.5 (2007-03-13) [x86_64-linux]
Followed by the postmaster doing a restart.
Can anyone give me some ideas as to where to go next with this one?
Thanks for any help
Ralph
