I was in the process of writing an e-mail to a friend to pass on various links
for him to start learning Ruby.
Of course, the best first step, I think, is to download a copy of Programming
Ruby. To find it, I went to the online version at Ruby Central and followed
the link that purports to take me to the current location.
That takes me to a page that tells me all about the Open Content licence, but
I cannot, for the life of me, find the link that takes me to the actual
content … of Programming Ruby, or anything else.
The link that says it will take me to the documents actually takes me to a
page about David Wiley. None of the links on that page take me to any
documents, other than things he’s written.
Can anyone point me at the actual content? Am I going blind? Do I need a
good, stiff drink? Have I simply lost the plot?!
Thanks in advance.

Access it via here instead:

RubyCentral needs to be refreshed from the development box: I’ll ask
the good folks at AWL to do it.
Thanks for the note

Great.

You’re welcome. I’m looking forward to a refresh. I’d happily buy another
copy of the paperback to get details of the latest stable release.
