We are urgently looking for a Lead level Ruby on Rails Developer for an
upcoming project with a direct client, it will be a long-term contract
based out of either New York NY or San Francisco CA (preferred) as the
teams are distributed across both locations.

Tentative start date is 3rd week of June.

Market rate. Ideal range is 90-110/hr C2C but negotiable for the right
candidate.

   - Must have experience with REST API creation.
   - Writing good quality code in backend like multi-threaded, encryption
   etc.
   - Good logical skills, clear understanding of data structures
   - Experience with unit testing experience using RSpec or similar tool

So far I’ve got responses from folks outside of US who’re interested in
this opportunity. However at this point we’re only looking for RoR Lead
Developers residing in the US with a valid work authorization.

Have reached out on RubyNow and Rails.org.

Would appreciate if you can check with devs in your network to see if
they’d be up for it. It is a pretty decent paying contract in SFO :slight_smile:

This is for a project my company is doing for a SF-based client, you might
be required to travel to SFO occasionally for meetings.

Duration: 6-12 months
Open to hiring full-time and contract. Rate: 80-90/hr

   - Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively
   across teams.
   - 6-8 years overall experience with RoR, Java and REST APIs is required.
   - Must have experience with REST API creation.
