Is ruby central really inaccessible?

I begun to read Programming Ruby: The Pragmatic Programmer’s Guide on
rubycentral three days ago but since I’ve not been able to connect.
Is ruby central really inaccessible?
The only address I get is www.rubycentral.com,
is it OK?

There was (and still is?) a problem resolving the domain name. If you have a
hosts file, you can try adding this:

165.193.123.250 www.rubycentral.com rubycentral.com

Or just use the IP address directly in the URLs.

165.193.140.17
dev.rubycentral.com

or else the download links won’t work.
