Is anybody working on a ruby to exe compiler? Can we expect something
like this in the near future?

exerb is exactly what I’ve been looking for - I was just starting to
study the problem to see how difficult writing something like exerb
would be.

Wow - I’d missed this before. I’d put together this page back in May
http://www.rubygarden.org/ruby?DistributeARubyAppInASingleExecutable
and didn’t know about this project. I’ve added it to the Wiki and will have
to check it out.
